Junior Tennis Academy at Emory University

Weekday Tennis Clinics (ages 10 and under)

These clinics are designed for players of all levels and aspirations. From learning the basic strokes and mechanics of the game to doing advanced drills and engaging in game play, our instructors can improve the level of any tennis player. Courts will be split up by ability and each lesson will be tailored specifically to improve a different tennis skill.

Where: The tennis courts at the Student Athletic Activities Center (SAAC) at Emory University

When: Tuesday and Thursday from 4 pm – 5pm

Cost: Cost is $15 per clinic

Teaches the basic grips, strokes, tactics and fundamentals of the game. Intense personalized attention will give your game the jump start you have been looking for. If you want to learn tennis and learn it well, this is the clinic for you. Low student to instructor ratio guaranteed.

Intermediate Competitive Tennis (ages 10 and up)

These clinics are designed for the intermediate player who is looking to take their game to a new level. Lessons will include review of grips, stances and stroke mechanics, as well as drills and game play to elaborate on each new skill.
Where: The tennis courts at the Student Athletic Activities Center (SAAC) at Emory University

When: Wednesday's and Friday's from 5pm- 630 pm

Cost: One clinic per week $25, Two clinics per week - $45Advanced drills and match play will get you ready to compete at a higher level. Prepare for a high intensity workout that will leave your lungs burning and your tennis game all the better. Advanced tactics, footwork and game play will be involved in each clinic. Low student to instructor ratio guaranteed.

Tournament Competitive Tennis (ages 12 and up)

These clinics are designed for advanced tournament  players looking to make a splash in the competitive tennis scene. Lessons will include advanced drills and game play, as well as tactical and mental advice. Courts will be split up by age and ability and each lesson will be specifically tailored to improve different skills. Additionally, there will be a fitness instructor at each lesson to help work on coordination, movement, footwork, speed and endurance.

Where: The tennis courts at the Student Athletic Activities Center (SAAC) at Emory University

When: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday's from 5pm-630 pm.

Cost: One clinic per week- $25, Two clinics per week- $45, Three clinics per week- $60

Saturday Drill and Match Play

This clinic is designed for the competitive player who is looking to get in some great drill and match play. Every Saturday players can show up and expect 45 minutes of drilling and at least a set of singles and or doubles match play.

Where: The tennis courts at the Woodruff PE Center at Emory Unviersity

When: Saturday, Pee-wee's from 11-12pm and juniors from 12-2 pm

Cost: $15 pee-wee's, $25 for juniors

***Note: there will never be more than 5 students per instructor and class size is limited to 15***

****If interest is high enough, we will be looking to put together a competitive Junior ALTA team****
